About Us

Founded in 1996, OCI Chemical Corporation’s primary businesses are the production of natural soda ash, sodium percarbonate and hydrogen peroxide. We are one of the world’s largest producers of natural soda ash and our Green River, WY plant has been providing high quality products to companies across North America and around the globe since 1962. In 2001, we began manufacturing the highly effective oxygen based bleach sodium percarbonate at our facility in Decatur, AL. In 2006, OCI Chemical and Eka Chemicals Inc. entered into a joint venture to manufacture and sell hydrogen peroxide from our Columbus, MS plant, forming EkO Peroxide LLC.
